Our Story: Devon is a very special girl who inspired Daren to take a chance and start this business. She is Daren's daughter and she passed away in November 2003 after a valiant battle to overcome a heart defect. Her life and death affected many people’s lives and continues to have an effect today. During the summer of 2004, Daren and his sister Kris worked together on a 4,000 square foot garden in Daren’s backyard as a tribute to Devon. Knee deep in the mud, Daren said that this was what he wanted to for a living. Devon's Gardens is more than a garden store; it is a legacy to a little girl who is loved very much. |
